LDJ partnered with the new Golden Globe Foundation (formerly the Hollywood Foreign Press Association) on their Foundation Dinner, which gives $5,000,000 in grants and awards to film and film related non-profits throughout the world. With grantees present and live entertainment to guide the night, the Foundation’s board welcomed new recipients and former grantees alike to this special night, 2 days before the Golden Globe event. We followed that Friday night by flipping the room and creating a new environment to have guests watch the telecast and welcome winners into the room to get their new trophy engraved and catalogued.
LDJ worked with Rolling Stone and SheMedia for SXSW’s return to IRL to create and produce a multi-faceted space that connected hundreds of attendees over 4 days of daytime panels, bespoke dinners, and evening concerts with A-list musical acts. We designed an open plan concept — a highly convertible space for flexible and diverse programming. The overall layout allowed for optimal circulation and sight-lines at all times for GA attendees and VIP guests. This all came together to create a top ten SxSW 2022 event because of the unique staging, robust programming, and meaningful content. LDJ built, from scratch, all branded components, scenic staging, and lounge spaces, including providing all onsite staffing for programming execution.
LDJ Productions collaborated for the second consecutive year with the ZVG, M+D, the Global Africa Business Initiative, and the United Nations Global Compact to orchestrate a remarkable two-day event, including a gala dinner reception. The "Unstoppable Africa" gathering brought together leaders from Africa and worldwide to deliberate on trade, innovation, connectivity, and reshaping perceptions through collaborative marketing and public relations. Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed delivered an uplifting message, leaving attendees with homework for the next year. This annual event serves as a beacon, showcasing the power of raw data and fostering fellowship and cooperation. The discussions transcended boundaries, uniting visionaries with diverse perspectives for a common cause. The event marked a declaration of a new era in Africa's growth trajectory, emphasizing innovation, resilience, and boundless opportunities. The experience provided a platform for exchanging ideas, forging partnerships, and collectively envisioning a prosperous and sustainable future for Africa, leaving attendees filled with optimism and inspired for what lies ahead. LDJ Productions played a pivotal role in coordinating the extensive programming and creating an environment conducive to meaningful connections and collaboration.
LDJ partnered with Elevate Prize Foundation on a live version of their Make Good Famous event, held in South Beach at the W Hotel. This event consisted of high-profile speakers, panel discussions, grant awards, and an honoring component. The event was recorded and livestreamed on all Elevate’s channels.
LDJ was contacted by Heritage of Pride to move their annual Pride Island event from Pier 97 in Manhattan to Governor’s Island. 2022 marked the first time in 2 years that Pride Island was able to occur, and they aimed to make it truly new and truly memorable. The two day event included 10 sponsor buildouts, VIP cabana and skybox activations, including day programming with DJ and Artists, and then an evening headliner concert entertainment. LDJ designed the staging, the cabana structures, the sponsor footprints, and the overall site & security plan. We fully staffed the onsite crew and sub-teams, and handled all the sponsor and artist production requests.
LDJ partnered with Equinox on a launch event for their newest location in The Hamptons. This beautiful and rugged reflection of the brand is unmistakably Hamptons, and the dedication to that by the Equinox brand / event team was focused and direct. The LDJ team designed a custom 2-sided step & repeat lightbox, which included local shrubbery and custom acrylic signage affixed to a mirrored surface. The event, which lasted several hours, was designed to promote the new space and to give local (and global) influencers access to explore the space while unwinding on the studio porch. LDJ built, from scratch, all branded components, scenic staging, and lounge spaces, including providing all onsite staffing for guest logistics and production execution.
